Avalanche Mountain Bike Park

Description

The park ( based at Scrumpy Jacks Farmstall) is open to all mountain bikers of any age and skill level.

Cross-country riders will enjoy our 5km,15km and 30km trails which are mostly single track and slightly technical

in places.

For those looking for more of a thrill our free ride and downhill sections are full of various features like drop offs

jumps switch backs and rock gardens .

Dirt jumpers will go nuts in our free style park which contains a big selection of jumps, wall rides quarter pipes

and a mini downhill track.

We also offer mountainboarding and climbing which is great fun for all. The mountainboarding is done in the park aswell as the forests.

Directions

From the N3 Take the Bergville, Central Drakensberg turnoff. Travel to Winterton. Travel through the town of Winterton. At the Engen Garage turn left towards Central Drakensberg. Follow road to 4-Way Stop. Continue straight over. You will travel past Thokozisa on the left. Travel for +/- 7kms. You will find us on the right hand side.
