We offer comfortable, convenient overnight accommodation to the traveller who is fortunate enough to find himself in this spectacular part of KwaZulu Natal, at reasonable rates.Accommodation We boast seventeen newly built, large rooms, with a total of thirty four double beds and en-suite bathrooms. Each room consists of two double beds, a fan, a heater, tea and coffee facilities, DSTV, and for the ‘workaholic’, a desk with a study lamp and chair. All basic necessities, such as linen, towels and soaps, are supplied.
Our rooms are also serviced on a daily basis excluding Sundays. We also have laundry facilities available for those who wish to take care of some laundry. Alternatively, on request, we will take care of your laundry for you and have it back in your room when you return. Rocky Ridge is a fully fledged lodge set in the scenic foothills of the Southern Drakensberg. We offer accommodation at reasonable rates. Our gardens provide a nice setting for an outdoor braai, and our deck has an amazing view of the small farm where our lodge is situated. We boast 17 large double rooms with a total of 34 double beds and en-suite bathrooms. Each room consists of two double beds, a fan, a heater, tea and coffee facilities, DSTV, and for the workaholics, a desk with study lamp and chair. All basic necessities, such as linen, towels and soap are supplied. We specialise in Business Functions, Conferences and Weddings. Rocky Ridge Lodge is proud of its two conference centres, one of which caters for 16-20 people, and the other seating 120-150 persons. We have an immaculate BBQ (Barbeque) facility on our deck for those who wish to have a traditional South African meal. Relax and unwind after a long day in our cosy, casual bar or sit down to a delicious home-cooked meal in our buffet style dining room. Farm walks are also great for relaxing, and one can walk for hours. Fishing and hunting weekends can be arranged on request. For the more daring soul – air flips over East Griqualand are also easily arranged, as the local airstrip is only 2km from the lodge. Rocky Ridge Lodge is the perfect stop over for the weary traveller, or for those who have business in the area. Come on, why not stay a day or two? You will not be disappointed if you like nature, good food and all round good times. DiningRelax and unwind in our cosy, casual bar, or sit down to a delicious home-cooked breakfast or dinner in our buffet-style dining room. We cater for Diabetics, Vegetarians and most other dietary requirements on request.
Breakfast is served between 7am and 9am, and Dinner is served between 6pm and 8pm. We now also cater for Business Luncheons and Family Luncheons on request and for the early-birds, we could supply Lunch Packs or Breakfast Packs, in stead of a breakfast.
